Cheat Lake Urgent Care (CLUC) is a full service medical clinic offering urgent care capabilities for life’s small interruptions. We are open seven days a week with convenient hours designed for the modern individual and family. No appointments are required or needed. We are staffed with Residency Trained, Board Certified Physicians specializing in Emergency Medicine. Our staff will professionally and efficiently take care of your medical needs. Our staff can tend to many urgent situations including, but not limited to: sore throats, colds, pneumonia, bronchitis, urinary tract infections, and rashes. Additionally, we are equipped to handle lacerations, minor burns, skin infections, muscle strains, sprains, as well as many other types of injury. With on-site phlebotomy and x-ray, patients rarely require referral to outside facilities for service.
Cheat Lake Urgent Care (CLUC) opened in the spring of 1997 in the Crest Point area of Cheat Lake. Due to limited space and a desire for growth, in 1999 CLUC moved a mile down the road into its current location in the Pierpont Centre in Cheat Lake. Since its opening in 1997, Cheat Lake Urgent Care has been staffed with physicians who have been board certified in emergency medicine. They look forward to continuing their commitment to offering efficient, urgent care to the citizens of Morgantown for many years to come.
Since its opening in the spring of 1997, Cheat Lake Urgent Care (CLUC) has been involved in the Morgantown, Cheat Lake and surrounding communities. In addition to being Partners in Education with local schools, CLUC annually sponsors and supports a variety of local recreational youth programs. We have been a proud sponsor of Special Olympics of Preston County for many years. These programs benefit residents, students and parents in Monongalia and Preston County. Our staff live in the communities we serve and we proudly support many local agencies working to improve the place we call home!
